Zack Schuch Recaps West Coast Office Tour
This past month, I had the opportunity to embark on a fulfilling trip to the West Coast, visiting both Bellevue, WA, and Orange County, CA. These visits were not only productive but also offered valuable moments of learning, connection, and growth.
Connecting in Bellevue
My first stop was Bellevue, WA, where I attended a conference specifically designed for managers and industry leaders from the Pacific Northwest Region. The event, which brought together around 200 attendees, was a fantastic platform for exchanging ideas, learning from one another, and exploring the latest trends and strategies in our industry.
One of the highlights of the conference was an interview I had with Jess V. We discussed my career path and the various lessons I’ve learned along the way. It was an engaging conversation, where I shared insights and advice with young business professionals who are eager to carve out their own paths in the business world. My hope was to inspire them to stay committed to their goals, embrace challenges, and always be open to learning.
A Day with the Orange County Team
Following the conference, I traveled to Orange County, CA, where I visited one of the top-performing offices in the country. This visit was particularly special, as it gave me the chance to spend an entire day shadowing the office manager and observing the daily operations. The team in Orange County has been doing remarkable work, and it was a privilege to see their processes in action.
After spending time with the manager and team, I provided feedback on how they could further refine their operations to enhance efficiency and productivity. I also dedicated time to engage with the employees directly, allowing them to ask questions and share their thoughts. These conversations were incredibly insightful, and I was impressed by the level of dedication and enthusiasm the team displayed.
Closing Thoughts
This trip was not just about attending a conference or visiting an office; it was about connecting with our people, understanding their challenges, and offering guidance where needed. The insights I gained during these visits will undoubtedly help us continue to grow and succeed as a company.
I’m grateful for the warm welcome I received in both Bellevue and Orange County and look forward to applying the lessons learned as we move forward. These interactions reinforce the importance of staying connected with our teams across the country, ensuring we all share in our collective success.
